Artillery Relocation Training Program 18-1 is a Japan-funded, routine training exercise that allows the Okinawa-based Marines with 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division to conduct live-fire training in Japan. Observers from the local SKDB's visit allowed them to gain a better understanding of the battalion's training with respect to the ATRP agreement between the U.S. Government and the Government of Japan.
