Sergeant Major Bradley assumed his current post as Sergeant Major, 3d Marine Division, in February of 2018. A native of Oscoda, Michigan, he entered the Marine Corps in September of 1990.
Throughout his career, Sergeant Major Bradley has been assigned as a Marine Musician; Drill Instructor and Senior Drill Instructor with 3d Recruit Training Battalion at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina; Field Artillery Cannoneer, Howitzer Section Chief, Platoon Sergeant, and Battery Gunnery Sergeant with 2d Battalion, 10th Marines; Assistant Marine Officer Instructor at the United States Naval Academy; and Company First Sergeant with 2d Battalion, 9th Marines.
Prior to his current post, he served as the Squadron Sergeant Major for Marine Attack Squadron 231; Station Sergeant Major for Recruiting Station Charleston, West Virginia; Regimental Sergeant Major for the 10th Marine Regiment; and Command Senior Enlisted Leader for Joint Task Force Guantanamo.
He has deployed with Battalion Landing Team 2d Battalion, 6th Marines, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) in 2000; Battalion Landing Team 3d Battalion, 3d Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) in 2003; Company E, 2d Battalion, 9th Marines during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM from 2008 to 2009; Weapons Company, 2d Battalion, 9th Marines during Operation ENDURING FREEDOM (Afghanistan) from 2010 to 2011; and Marine Attack Squadron 231 during Operation ENDURING FREEDOM (Afghanistan) from 2012 to 2013.
Sergeant Major Bradley’s personal awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (3rd award), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4th award), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2nd award), Combat Action Ribbon, and the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara.
