Lieutenant Colonel Rehberg was born and raised in Livonia, Michigan where he attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan on a Football Scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administrative Management in 2008. He attended Officer Candidate School in January 2010 and commissioned in March 2010. He then attended and graduated from The Basic School and Infantry Officer Course November 2010 and March 2011, respectfully. He then reported to 2d Battalion, 4th Marines where he held the billets of Personal Security Detachment Platoon Commander and deployed to Helmond Province, Afghanistan from August 2011 to March 2012. He was also the 81mm Mortar Platoon Commander and TRAP Force Commander from May 2012 to May 2014, where he deployed with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of Exercises KOOLENDONG and TALISMAN SABRE.
Lieutenant Colonel Rehberg then reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego from June 2014 to June 2017 where he was a Series Commander, Company K; Company Commander, Company L; and Assistant Director of Drill Instructor School. He was then selected and attended resident Expeditionary Warfare School in Quantico, Virginia from August 2017 to May 2018. Following graduation, he was a summer augment for Officer Candidate School where he was a Platoon Commander for Company A from May to August 2018.
He then reported to 3d Battalion, 3d Marines and took command of Company K, deploying to Okinawa, Japan from June to December 2019 in support of Unit Deployment Program and forward deployed to Darwin Australia in support of exercise TALISMAN SABRE. Following redeployment, he was assigned as the battalion executive officer, 3d Battalion, 3d Marines from February to August 2020.
From September 2020 to June 2023, Lieutenant Colonel Rehberg reported to Special Operations Command Pacific as a Joint Planner for Strategies, Plans, and Policies where he supported future plans development in support of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command priorities.
He then reported to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit in July 2023 as the Assistant Operations Officer and deployed to the 6th FLEET Area of Operations in June 2024. While deployed, he supported theater priority exercises and the Lebanon Crisis Response until December 2024. Upon redeployment, he was assigned as the MEU Operations Officer from January to July 2025.
In July 2025, Lieutenant Colonel Rehberg executed orders to Okinawa, Japan and assumed his current position as the Director of Jungle Warfare Training Center.
Personal awards include: Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (with one gold star), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (with one gold star and combat distinguishing device), and Combat Action Ribbon.
