Marines from Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, fire 155 mm artillery shells from an M777 howitzer after receiving a fire mission from their command station at Schofield Barracks, June 11, 2013. The exercise was part of a three-day training exercise called Spartan Fury 13.3, in which the main goal was to ensure the preparedness for providing combat artillery support to 3rd Marine Regiment in their upcoming infantry training exercise.
