U.S. Marine Sgt. Wendell Claxton, a St. Croix, Virgin Islands, native, performs as rapper Junior Sparks Jan. 10 during Unplugged, a music competition hosted by Marine Corps Community Services at the Ocean Breeze on Camp Foster. Claxton is a reconnaissance man with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The event was open to all Status of Forces Agreement persons. MCCS “makes Okinawa home” by providing quality of life programs and services designed to meet the needs of Marines and their families, according to their website.
