Lance Cpl. Bradley W. Walsh clears an M240B medium machine gun during a refresher course Jan. 21 as part of Integrated Training Exercise 15-2 at Marine Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms. The first step to handling a weapon is clearing it, making sure there aren’t any rounds in the chamber. Walsh is a rifleman from Granville, Ohio, assigned to 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
