U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Kevin Jones, a San Antonio native, explains Marine Corps infantry tactics to members of the Philippine Marine Corps at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Crow Valley training facility in support of Air Assault Support Exercise 16.2, Aug. 6, 2016. The goal of AASE 16.2 is to maintain the readiness and interoperability of the U.S. and Armed Forces of the Philippines to ensure an effective and rapid response to any contingency in the region. Jones is the company commander of Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment.
