U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Janessa Pon/Released 160920-M-TA471-166.JPG
Sep 23, 2016
An instructor demonstrates proper hasty rappelling procedures Sept. 20 aboard the Jungle Warfare Training Center on Okinawa, Japan. Hasty rappelling is one of the many skills Marines must develop while training at JWTC. The training area stretches across more than 17,000 acres and is home to several rigorous courses through which Marines must navigate harsh terrain and climate-specific training in preparation for operations in the Asia-Pacific region.
