U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Kaydan N. Smith reenlists during a ceremony at the Iceberg Memorial on Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan Feb. 21, 2024. Smith said he reenlisted for the Marines around him and for the stability the military provides. “This is my family away from my family,” said Smith.
